License-free Frequencies
by Country/Region

The WAVESWAY MANET Radios (MU3, MU7, MU9, MS2.0) are SRD (Short-Range Devices) that provide SRC (Short-Range Communication) utilizing the MANET (Mobile AD hoc Network) protocol.

  • Compatible with most global ISM (Industrial, Scientific, Medical) license-free UHF bands

  • ISM (863~928 MHz)

The WAVESWAY MANET Radios (MU5) is a portable, lightweight, 3-band, 16-channel SmartRadio. It is compatible with licensed VHF/UHF/ISM band networks.

  • VHF (137-190 MHz)

  • UHF (410-475 MHz)

  • ISM (433.05–434.79 MHz)

  • ISM (710~950 MHz)

Also compliant with other regional and national standards, e.g.:

  • USA / Canada: FRS (Family Radio Service bands 462, 467 MHz)

  • European Union (EU): PMR446 (Private Mobile Radio 446 MHz)

  • Australia: UHF CB (Citizens Band 466, 477 MHz)

Notes:

  1. Licensed frequency operation requires regulatory authorization to ensure compliance and prevent interference.

  2. License-free bands like ISM, FRS, PMR446, and UHF CB still have technical rules set by local authorities.

  3. Always verify compliance with EIRP limits, bandwidth, duty cycle, etc., before operating your device.
